Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) & Drones

Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and drones are subject to Federal Aviation Administration regulations, especially when operating near airports. Midland International Air & Space Port is located in controlled airspace, which requires additional authorization for drone operations.

Important Notice

Airports are no longer allowed to grant permission for drone operations. The FAA has a waiver process that must be completed prior to any UAS/Drone usage in and around airports.
