[ARCHIVED] RFQ for professional engineering and architectural services

The City of Midland, Texas, is requesting submission of qualifications for professional engineering and architectural services for the Midland International Air & Space Port and Midland Airpark Airport. Sealed responses addressed to the Office of City Secretary, City Hall, Midland, Texas, will be received until 2:00 p.m. February 24, 2021, or as changed by the issuance of formal addenda. Request for Qualifications packets are available at www.flymaf.com. Interested firms shall furnish (5) copies of the response for the RFQ. The RFQ shall be no more than forty (40) pages.

The Airport/City intends to select a single firm to provide the services required for the projects in the RFQ (or other projects of similar type of scope) expected to be performed within five (5) years from the initial contract. The Airport/City will make the selection from the RFQ’s received.

WAIVER OF CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE COMPETITIVE REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS PROCESS OR AWARD OF CONTRACT

The projects are as follows: (1) Reconstruct Taxiway E West of Taxiway A; (2) Reconstruct Air Carrier Apron Pavement with Concrete Pavement; (3) Airfield Snow Removal Vehicles and Equipment Acquisition; (4) Engineering Evaluation of Asphalt Pavement on the Air Carrier Runways and Taxiways; (5) Rehabilitate Runway 16R/34L, Runway 10/28 and Air Carrier Taxiways; (6) Facility Assessment and Rehabilitation of prior Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Museum Building; (7) Airside and Landside Improvements at the previous CAF site; (8) Rehabilitate Runway 7/25, Runway 16/34 and Taxiways at Midland Airpark.
